About the role
Role Overview
We are looking for a Social Media Intern to run marketing for oorik.in on Instagram, LinkedIn and other platforms. This is a remote internship with a salary starting from ₹5L a year. You will plan and publish content, grow our audience and report on what works.
Responsibilities
- Plan and publish posts for Instagram, LinkedIn and other platforms
- Write captions and short copy that fit each platform
- Create and schedule a content calendar
- Grow followers and engagement across our accounts
- Reply to comments and messages from our audience
- Track reach, engagement and follower growth
- Report on results and suggest improvements
Requirements
- Hands-on experience running social media accounts for a brand or project
- Strong written English and clear copywriting
- Working knowledge of Instagram and LinkedIn
- Ability to create simple graphics and short videos
- Comfort with scheduling tools and basic analytics
- Self-driven approach to working remotely
- Interest in marketing and audience growth
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Canva or similar design tools
- Familiarity with paid social campaigns
- A portfolio of posts or accounts you have run
